D&D Lvl 7 One Shot Adventure: Beneath the Whispering Cairn

Join DM Alex Timmis and the adventuring party for a Dungeons and Dragons on-shot adventure for level 5 characters! Create your character, grab some dice, and come join the table as you explore an ancient tomb filled with peril!

The scraggly hills around Cloudcroft bristle with ancient tombs thought emptied of their treasures long ago. A daring opportunity to profit could let you leave this muddy smudge on the map behind forever…or will you find some riches are better left lost and buried??

This dungeon crawl adventure is inspired by Erik Mona’s “Whispering Cairn” and will take between 3 and 4 hours to complete depending on player choices. New and veteran players alike are invited to join the table!

Come prepared with a 7th level character of your own imagining equipped with an uncommon magical item using any currently published 5th edition Dungeons and Dragons materials or use one of the pre-generated characters and items provided by DM Alex. You are encouraged to bring along writing supplies.

DM Alex Timmis (he/him) loves telling stories around the table with friends. He has been playing Dungeons and Dragons for eight years and rolling dice behind the DM screen for four of them. While an improv performer and instructor, Alex fell in love with role playing games and helped bring FIASCO! to life onstage at the Mopco Improv Theater in Schenectady. He is currently the Artistic Director of the Electric City Puppets. Role playing games, like improv, give us space to play and explore roles we don’t typically get to play in our day-to-day lives. Alex encourages a playful and respectful table where all players get a chance to add to the narrative and share the spotlight with one another.
