“Rumors run wild of what evil has taken root in the unfortunate town of Orlane. Fields abandoned mid-harvest and farm houses nearly reclaimed by encroaching swampland warn of the once hardy trading post’s eerily sudden decline. Will you and your companions uncover what threatens to swallow up this young frontier town? Or will you too succumb to the hungry darkness?”

Join DM Alex Timmis in this horror-themed one-shot adventure inspired by Douglas Niles’ Dungeon Module N1 for Advanced D&D. Come prepared with a 5th level character using currently published Dungeons and Dragons source books. Players by no means should feel like they are experts, but previous play experience is encouraged.

This one-off story should take roughly 3 hours for players to complete depending on the pace of play. Gameplay will start around 6pm allowing time for players to arrive, order food and refreshments, and get comfortable before the adventure begins.

$15.00 covers your seat at the table for the 3 hour session, but your game cover for the day if you’d like to come play games before the one shot begins!

DM Alex Timmis (he/him) loves telling stories around the table with friends. He has been playing Dungeons and Dragons for seven years and rolling dice behind the DM screen for three. While an improv performer and instructor, Alex fell in love with role playing games and helped bring FIASCO to life onstage at the Mopco Improv Theatre in Schenectady. RPGs, like improv, give us a space to play and explore roles we don’t typically get to try on in our day-to-day lives. Alex encourages a playful and respectful table where all players get a chance to add to the narrative and share the spotlight.
