While we do offer special order cakes through Bard & Baker, it’s important to know that Bard & Baker is a full scale restaurant and bar and not a bakery. We have limited time, space and resources that are different than a traditional bakery, so special order slots fill up quick, and we do require a minimum of order time period of 1 week (7 days prior to your pickup day and time). We are unable to accommodate special orders with less than one week notice.

Our cakes are delicious(!), but we do not specialize in heavily decorated cakes covered in fondant or bright/vibrant icing colors. We specialize in tasty, elegant, beautiful cakes, and can offer optional chocolate writing or chocolate piped design on top to make your cake extra special.

If you are looking for a heavily decorated/stylized cake, we highly recommend our friends at Cake Street Sweets in Cohoes. Or, you’re welcome to bring your own with you from home or another business. There is a $10.00 outside cake/cupcake fee due day of.

Cake orders cannot be placed over email or via DM. They must be placed over the phone with our team by calling 518-948-6693.
