Call of Cthulhu One Shot Adventure: Beneath Perfection
Date: Thursday October 19th
Time: 5:30 - 9:30pm
Cost: $15
Location: Bard & Baker Troy, 501 Broadway, Troy, NY
Join GM Alex and the rest of your 1950s small town residents as your fend for your lives against evils beyond your understanding in this Call of Cthulhu one-shot adventure.
The folk of the little desert town of Perfection lived simple, if sometimes dull lives. When a drilling company set up down the road, the town hummed with gossip and gripes about equipment-laden trucks blocking the road and rude out-of-towners .
But with a series of miniature earthquakes, missing livestock, and suspicious company representatives, it’s clear something strange is happening here in Perfection.
The eclectic residents of this tiny town will need to come together if they want to get some answers … and survive.
Monsters will be the only terrifying unknown as the session will begin with a brief introduction to the rules of Call of Cthulhu for those that are new to the game or might need a quick refresher.
Pre-generated characters will be provided, so no need to create your own!
Seats are limited so RSVP here to save your spot! Seating begins at 5:30pm to grab food, drink and settle in before the game begins at 6:00 PM.

DM Alex Timmis (he/him) loves telling stories around the table with friends. He has been playing Dungeons and Dragons for eight years and rolling dice behind the DM screen for four of them. While an improv performer and instructor, Alex fell in love with role playing games and helped bring FIASCO! to life onstage at the Mopco Improv Theater in Schenectady. He is currently the Artistic Director of the Electric City Puppets. Role playing games, like improv, give us space to play and explore roles we don’t typically get to play in our day-to-day lives. Alex encourages a playful and respectful table where all players get a chance to add to the narrative and share the spotlight with one another.
