Location: Bard & Baker Troy, 501 Broadway, Troy, NY

Join DM Alex Timmis and the adventuring party for a Dungeons and Dragons one-shot adventure for level 6 characters! Create your character, grab some dice, and come join the table as you brave the rolling seas for the promise of lost riches.

A legendary fortune lost to the crashing waves and wind now drifts a few days sail from port. Among the Emperor of the Wave’s cargo was an enchanted chest holding the great riches of one of the noblest families on the coast. Laid low by their loss, they toiled in destitution and misfortune for generations until the Emperor reappeared as suddenly as it had vanished. Will fortune smile upon you as you brave the Sea of Swords and salvage their former glory and share in their lost riches?

This one-shot is inspired by the Salvage Operation from Ghosts of Salt Marsh and will take about 3 to 4 hours to complete depending on player choices. Some previous play experience is encouraged but all are invited to join the table!

Come prepared with a 6th level character of your own imagining equipped with an uncommon magical item using any currently published 5th edition Dungons and Dragons materials or use one of the pre-generated characters and items provided by DM Alex. You are encouraged to bring along writing supplies.

Seats are limited so RSVP here to save your spot! Seating begins at 5:30pm to grab food, drink and settle in before the game begins.

DM Alex Timmis (he/him) loves telling stories around the table with friends. He has been playing Dungeons and Dragons for eight years and rolling dice behind the DM screen for four of them. While an improv performer and instructor, Alex fell in love with role playing games and helped bring FIASCO! to life onstage at the Mopco Improv Theater in Schenectady. He is currently the Artistic Director of the Electric City Puppets. Role playing games, like improv, give us space to play and explore roles we don’t typically get to play in our day-to-day lives. Alex encourages a playful and respectful table where all players get a chance to add to the narrative and share the spotlight with one another.
