D&D Lvl 11 One Shot Adventure: Castle of Amber

Join the adventuring party for a Dungeons and Dragons one-shot adventure for 11th level characters. Create your character, grab some dice, and try to quiet the restless spirits as you escape from the ghostly Castle of Amber. 

Gray mists and the sounds of far-off courtly music mark your passage through gloomy forests. As you travel it is clear something looms just beyond your sight, seeming to follow your passage. It seeks to test you. Will you escape the Castle of Amber and prove worthy? Or will you remain trapped with all those who came before? 

This 11th Level one-shot is inspired by Chateau D’Amberville by Tom Moldvay and will take about 3 1/2 hours to complete. Some previous play experience is encouraged but all are invited to join the table! Please come prepared with a character equipped with two uncommon magical items using any currently published 5th Edition Dungeons and Dragons materials or use one of the pre-generated characters provided.

Seats are limited so RSVP here to save your spot! Seating begins at 5:30pm to grab food, drink and settle in before the game begins around 6:00pm. Please arrive early if you are planning to choose a pre-generated character.

DM Alex Timmis (he/him) loves telling stories around the table with friends. He has been playing Dungeons and Dragons for eight years and rolling dice behind the DM screen for four of them. While an improv performer and instructor, Alex fell in love with role playing games and helped bring FIASCO! to life onstage at the Mopco Improv Theater in Schenectady. He is currently the Artistic Director of the Electric City Puppets. Role playing games, like improv, give us space to play and explore roles we don’t typically get to play in our day-to-day lives. Alex encourages a playful and respectful table where all players get a chance to add to the narrative and share the spotlight with one another.
